Business Development Managers in this role get to:

  • Prospect for opportunities within specific vertical markets and service offering types
  • Generate qualified sales opportunities and face to face meetings with senior executive decision-makers for the client's services
  • Act as the primary point of contact to facilitate and foster relationships between prospective client decision making executives and the client's outside sales organization
  • Provide input on campaign generation
  • Provide input on proposal generation where required
  • Professionally maintain sales activity information within contact management CRM/SFA tools and Sales Engagement email marketing tools

Our most successful candidates will have: :

  • Experience selling similar service offerings (i.e. digital transformation, IT, customer engagement, and business process transformation services)
  • Strong sales experience in 1 or more of the following: IT Services, Enterprise, Healthcare/HIT, Revenue Cycle Management, Platforms, Research & Design, Analytics/Consulting
  • Proven experience opening and closing deals consistently
  • Strong domain knowledge and experience in the industry
  • Experience working for a global consulting firm is a plus
  • Highly developed selling, customer relations, and negotiation skills with the ability to effectively consult and influence chief executives. Ability to provide verifiable client references
  • Ability to demonstrate consecutive quarterly and yearly quota achievement in complex selling environments utilizing a solution selling model
  • Very good understanding of new emerging technologies and leading business trends
  • Strong problem-solving ability with the aptitude to identify strategic solutions to business problems with enterprise-wide implications
  • Flexibility to work among diverse corporate environments, industries, and technical and non-technical audiences
  • Capable of multi-tasking with rapidly changing priorities and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
