Pronko Consulting Team is excited to announce the new Global Payments extension release. The new release covers critical PSD2 compliance. The release covers the Hosted Payment Page and Remote API integrations as well as additional improvements for Merchants. The Global Payments version 2.4.0 addresses issues related to the recent Magento Open Source 2.2.8 and Magento Open Source 2.3.0 releases.
Configuration Changes
The new Global Payments version introduces the payment method configuration changes. It allows having unified configuration settings across all Pronko Consulting Extensions. Let's see what changes we have in the new release.
Starting from the 2.4.0 version, you can configure Global Payments payment method settings under the "Stores -> Configuration -> Pronko Extensions -> Global Payments".
There are also new sections added to the Global Payments extension. New Dynamic Currency Conversion section allows you to configure the Global Payments Remote API with Dynamic Currency Conversion support. Also, the 3D Secure Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) gives you the flexibility to configure Global Payments Hosted Payments Page 3D Secure integration settings.
Hosted Payment Page Changes
There are changes to the Global Payments Hosted Payments Page integration. The new HPP_CHANNEL parameter is now supported and passed to the Global Payments secure server from Magento Commerce 2 website.
New logging capabilities allow observing communication between Magento Commerce 2 website and the Global Payments server.
Remote API Changes
Global Payments Remote API integration now uses an up-to-date Global Payments API endpoints.
